Appointments
Appointments can be made by telephone, email, via the contact form (click on "Get In Touch") via our Facebook page or our Instagram Account.
We endeavour to respond to all messages during our opening hours.
Arrival
If you are late for an appointment, it may be necessary to reschedule.
Your stylist/therapist will do their best to accommodate you.
In order to ensure total relaxation, we encourage you to arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment.
Children
We request that children are not brought into the salon unless receiving a treatment personally. We love children, however we must comply with health and safety regulations, and want to ensure that everyone has the best possible experience while in the salon.
Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available for purchase for monetary values only.
Gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable.
The value of a gift voucher will not be replaced if lost, stolen, destroyed, altered or used without your permission.
Gift vouchers must be presented at time of service.
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase, excluding prize donations, which are valid for 3 months.
Payment
We accept payment for goods and services by cash or major credit/debit cards. Unfortunately we do not accept cheques.
Parking
We have plenty of free parking available to clients visiting the salon during our opening hours only in the rear car park. Please respect our neighbours if parking in residential streets & do not block driveways.
We accept no responsibility for vehicles whilst you are visiting the salon, by parking you acknowledge you are doing so at your own risk.
Cancellations & Deposits
We respectfully request 48 hours notice to cancel or change any appointments.
Following repeated short notice cancellations we reserve the right to require payment in advance to secure your appointment.
For all appointments during the month of December we request a £10 non refundable booking fee, redeemable against your appointment to secure your appointment.
Privacy Policy
The Little Retreat understands that privacy is important to you and wants your experiences with the salon, be it online or in person, to be as enjoyable and safe as possible. Our privacy policy describes how we handle your personal information generally and when you visit our website.
Visitors may choose to submit personal information via the contact us form on this website, or in person or by phone. Depending on the service you are accessing, you could be asked at various times to provide information including, but not limited to, your name, phone number, e-mail address or information about what you like and do not like.
The Little Retreat will not collect sensitive information about you such as details of your race, political beliefs or religion. We need this personal information in order to provide you with our products or services. This information may also assist us in delivering a better service and product to you. This information will be recorded by us and updated when additional information is supplied or upon request from you.
The Little Retreat use the personal information collected to provide you with our services and to assist in making your experience with us a satisfying one. Information is also collected to establish and maintain proper business records.
Your personal information will not be used to notify you about new products and services, we shall, instead, endeavour to provide this information via our social media and within the salon.
All personal information collected by The Little Retreat is only made available to those authorised individuals who need to handle that information for the purposes outlined in this policy. Personal information will never be disclosed outside The Little Retreat.
The Little Retreat will disclose personal information when required by law and may disclose it when reasonably necessary to assist an enforcement body or to lessen or prevent a threat to an individual or public health or safety.
You have a right to seek access to information that The Little Retreat holds about you. You also have the right to ask us to correct information about you which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
If you wish to exercise your right under the Privacy Act to seek access to the personal information held by us, then you should address your request in writing.
Please note that in the interests of protecting the privacy of all our customers, if you request details of any personal information held by us, we will need to identify you accordingly. To do this, we may telephone you or require your current name and address (or any former addresses that may assist in identification) and a copy of a form of identification such as a current driver's licence or passport.
We will assume, unless you tell us otherwise, your request relates to our current records about you. This will include the personal information about you, which is held on our databases and files.
Reasonable steps are taken to ensure the security of personal information from such risks as loss or unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure.
